I have ben waiting for my order for almost 2 months.

Ordered August 3, 2020.I have gotten nothing but the run around for 2 months.I have been on chat 5 times. They are NO help. Everything they say is NOT true. Then I got an email that said they have my pedestal sink but it had an apple on it. They were going to take $50.00 off if I take it.I said no. they told me they would back order my sink and it would be here August 18 - 22. I called today and they said it will be here August 30. now I am really pissed.I will never order from these people again. I did talk to Matt today . I was on hold 10 minutes then got hung up on by them. Then I was on hold another 10 minutes. Matt was very kind and seemed to calm me down.

Don’t waist your money

I ordered a tub back in June. When I called on July 11th (that’s when they said I would have it) they said it would ship that day. I finally got a shipping confirmation on July 18th. It’s been sitting in the Chicago shopping yard since. ( over a week). When I called they said they didn’t have any drivers to deliver and could take a while. Overall: I am out a lot of money because my contractors have to reschedule.

Plumbing Supplies Delayed

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Tub and fixtures ordered. Order was not placed by sales but credit card was charged. Mistakes happen, I can deal with this. Tub and most fixtures arrive mid July. Missing the free standing Supply Lines. These aren't gonna make it here for at least 6 weeks. I have two plumbers here today to install new tub. Wasted $$$$. My home is in a nasty state of construction while installing a new bathroom. Vintage should pay for me to purchase these locally (they're much more locally- I can't buy in bulk)or they should have told me about the parts delay in advance. Why didn't they??? They knew I would NOT have purchased under these conditions! I'm very disappointed. Their phone staff is quite courteous and friendly.

Bad customer service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I ordered a tub package which was to include the faucet and drain. We were instructed to open and inspect the tub within 48 hours. We did inspect it and it was in perfect condition. Unfortunately we did not inventory all of the parts and upon installing it we found that the faucet body was missing. I contacted Vintage Tub and they said there was nothing they could do because I reported the shortage about 2 weeks after receiving the tub, not within the 48 hours. I then had to purchase the missing part that should have shipped with the tub. I am very happy with the tub but the customer service sours the whole transaction.

Backorder delay delay delay shipping

I ordered a sink and it was damaged in shipping. They promptly and quickly replaced it. Vintage Tub And Bath +1 Since that first order went so well we decided to order a full vintage clawfoot tub package with shower kit. The parts trickled in over the next month and half. I placed the order in November. I was given a delivery date in December. Then two dates in January. Then two dates in February. No I am being given dates in MARCH. I don't care if it is the shipper. This is bad customer service. I called today to talk to the rep and you literally get nowhere but blaming the shipping company. Will I have a delivery in March? 4-5 Months and counting....... I have a kitchen and two other bathrooms to remodel. I was planning on buying everything from VT&B but I don't see that happening now. Their products are amazing but shipping needs work.

Ok the tub arrived today and not March. The tub is very high quality and arrived undamaged.

The time frame was ridiculous. I believe they need to be more in tube with inventory and shipper. When we ordered the tub was not in backorder status.

Wonderful products. If you are on a project time line order months ahead of time....

DO NOT BUY FROM VINTAGE TUB AND BATH

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Worst customer service ever! They refused to rush shipment of a back ordered product even though it is still sitting in there warehouse. It's been delayed by over a month - they do not contact you to let you know when the product is in and absolutely refuses to rush shipment. I informed them that my contractor is ready to start our bathroom remodel and need the part ASAP. The customer service woman told me that there was nothing the company could do because they had already printed the shipping label. A company that is unwilling to reprint a shipping label is not a company you want to do business with.

Poor customer service and claim damaged return

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I have never written a bad review. However, I would never, ever purchase from Vintage Tub and Bath again. Please beware before you consider them. I purchased some Porcelain Claw Foot tub coasters. Before ordering I called, spoke to the customer service dept and described the floor I had and they insisted we needed these coasters to protect our floor. Ordered and put them under the tub. Our plumber told us to immediately take the tub off them before he would connect the plumbing because they were so slippery they caused the tub to slide all over the floor. I called, explained the situation and was given a hard time about returning them. After insisting they were not the correct product for our floor they reluctantly gave me an RMA#. I packaged the coasters up in the original packaging including the separator cardboards and bubble wrap they came in. Low and behold I get an email explaining they arrived damaged. I was also told in the email my "sink" arrived smashed and damaged also. I called and was told they made a mistake about the sink, they combined 2 emails in one. Ok, they made mistake, that's ok but 2 damaged returned items in 1 day? They sent photos of the coasters and they are not even the same color as the ones I received and sent back. The ones I received were clearly not perfectly white like the ones in the photo. I was told there was nothing to do but contact USPS and file a claim. After looking online at other reviews it appears there is a history of these types of shenanigans where the customer does not get a refund but sends back the product. Folks, buy elsewhere! just now

Deplorable Customer Service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Vintage Tub has deplorable customer service. Tub arrived missing a leg - we called them immediately - 5 days and numerous calls later and they have yet to agree to even initiate the process of sending the missing leg. All phone calls result in being on hold 5+ minutes only to be told they will call you right back, which they do NOT do. For a $1700.00 + tub to be sitting in the bedroom floor for 5 days, and counting, I'd appreciate much more responsive customer service. Purchase what you need somewhere - anywhere else. Did I mention they were patronizing, unsympathetic, arrogant, dismissive and unresponsive?

CAREFUL!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
We have purchased many items for VTB and have not been disappointed with their product quality except for a farmhouse sink we purchased while renovating our kitchen this year. We bought the sink gave it a quick look at delivery to see if it looked damaged (which it didn’t), however we took it out of the box a couple months later to set it for our countertop measurements. There were cracks along the edges & under the sink but we figured that was normal. Apparently it caused the structure to be weakened because it literally cracked after being set in place. Hand to God we did nothing to encourage injury to this sink in any way. I was horrified and contacted VTB via email to let them know. THEY WILL NOT RESPOND PROMPTLY. In fact since we couldn't wait for this process, and not thinking a refund would be a problem, we order another sink from VTB in it's place. It took several attempts to get a response for customer service; however over a period of time they asked for more information then later said that they would not allow a claim due to it being over 48 hours of inspection. I confirmed that we were NOT filing a shipping claim and would gladly pay for the sinks return shipping but we needed to file manufacturer’s warranty claim (which is 2 years). She said that she needed photos of the damage and she “will speak with a supervisor and see what I am able to do.” Not professional, not willing to help. Right away said no…then, wait, please send photos?? Really?? I took photos of the sink and sent them to Ainsli G. It took a long time for a response; it was determined that they would not honor manufacturer’s warranty because we took over 4 months to inspect the item…not true, and THEY made the determination that the dry cracks in the photos did “not cause any affect to the integrity of the sink”. I politely yet strongly disagree. We “ate” the $550. After receiving the second sink, there were NO dry cracks along the edges such as the first one that they claim are STANDARD with fireclay. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND WANT TO FOREWARN FUTURE POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS. Just be very careful purchasing anything from VTB. If you happen to get a faulty item…you will most likely have to eat the cost!!! This was a grueling process and although their products (when not faulty) are quality, the customer service and warranties WERE NOT honored nor considered an option. I mean why have a manufacturer’s warranty? AND after being faithful customers to them…very impersonal, cold and apathetic attitudes!

Vintage Tub & Bath - don't buy from them!

I placed an order for 2 faucets, a sink, and a toilet. Quick delivery is not their strong suit worse thing was the toilet. It took 3 wks to be shipped to me. Then it didn't fit. The wax ring was different than my plumber had ever seen. The dimensions from wax ring to back of toilet were not on website, nor was spec sheet. The company refused to pay for shipping back. They also require that package show up in original box and not at all damaged (box not just toilet). So to ship back UPS as they recommend, it would have cost me about the same as the $420 toilet. The company used some low cost shipping company, but wouldn't let me use it to return and wouldn't stand by their product. So if you buy from them, realize it is basically final sale. returning is not worth it. Another issue is faucet drain didn't fit sink so that cost me another $140 to buy new drain when $430 faucet drain didn't fit. Don't buy from them, it isn't worth it.

I loved the faucet I bought from them and customer service was too-flight. I strongly suggest people buy local and consuder any price difference a basic risk management fee.

I have learned the hard way that the local vendors value my business abd I don't mind paying the local vendors to manage these risks on my behalf.
